Even though the cacao tree doesn’t grow here in the Great Lakes region, we consume the products made from its seeds often: chocolate! This program looks at the history, ecology and manufacturing of one of our favorite treats. We will also sample chocolate tasting as part of this educational yet sweet program. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited.
