Civic Center Library
The Warren Public Library is proud to be hosting a collection of historic toys on loan from the Detroit Historical Society. This collection is hosted in the display cases in Civic Center Library, and features a variety of toys dating from the 1890s through the 1970s. Some highlights include:
- Barbie and Ken dolls from the 1960s and 1970s
- Toy planes, cars, and trucks from the 1930s through 1960s
- Classic board games including Game of the States, Password, and Assembly Line
We encourage you to stop by and revisit your childhood (or your parents’ or grandparents’ childhoods!) with the Detroit Historical Society’s toy collection!
