2-1-1 Telephone service for Southeast Michigan
2-1-1 is an easy access, comprehensive information and referral service established by United Way. It connects people in Macomb, Wayne, and Oakland counties to health and human services, as well as volunteer opportunities, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

City of Warren Service Requests
This website has a knowledge base that can answer basic questions such as  garbage or recycling policies, how to obtain a building permit, how to obtain an animal license, and more. It also allows you to submit service requests for items such a pothole repair, missed garbage, streetlights out, or abandoned vehicles.

Leaps and Bounds Family Services
A non-profit organization focusing on family education programs, including adult basic education and ESL classes for Michigan Works referred individuals, after school tutoring for children in grades 3rd-12th grade, early childhood education through play and learn groups and home visiting programs and childcare and parent training.

Macomb Community Action
Programs for income eligible Macomb County residents, including Head Start, free preschool, home safety devices, home ramps, home preservation and energy (weatherization), energy conservation education and weatherization, free tax preparation, down payment assistance, emergency food, Senior chore services, Senior nutrition and meal programs, low-income housing information and emergency assistance for rent/mortgage, utilities and home heating fuel.

Counselors can provide assistance to Veterans finding, applying for, receiving and maintaining Veteran’s benefits as well as filing claims and appealing adverse decisions.

The Michigan Legal Help website was created to help people who have to handle simple civil legal problems without a lawyer. There are articles you can read to learn about a specific area of the law and toolkits to help you prepare to represent yourself in court. Some forms are completed automatically once you answer simple questions. You can also search the website for a lawyer or community services in your area.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program – Senior Volunteer Opportunities
Retired and Senior Volunteer Program sponsored by Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan places adults age 55 or older in volunteer positions at sites throughout Macomb County.

Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to help seniors stay in their own homes as long as possible. They are always in need of volunteers to assist with a variety of chores, including trips to doctors, grocery shopping, light housework, or sometimes just companionship.
