Join us for a 2-hour class as we learn how to find information quickly and efficiently with the world’s most popular search engine! We’ll discuss the basics of Google searching, tips to make your searches more effective, as well as specialized Google products such as Google Images, Google Books, and Google Maps.

This program will be conducted via Zoom. Register online or by calling the Miller Branch Library at 586.751.5377. Zoom login information will be sent 1 day prior to the event.

Do you have a Kindle, smartphone, or tablet? If so, plan on attending our Get to Know eBooks and OverDrive class to discover how to take the library with you on your mobile device.

You will learn how easy it is to check out, read and listen to, and return eBooks and audiobooks from the library. You will never be stuck without a great read!

The Warren Public Library is pleased to announce that Busch Branch Library and Burnette Branch Library now have laptop computers that can be checked out by Warren residents free of charge.

Each laptop comes with a mobile hotspot to provide free Internet access and has the Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom app installed. Laptops may be checked out to Warren residents ages 18 years or older for 7 days with no renewals. A valid Warren Public Library card that was created at least 3 full months prior to checkout and current identification such as a driver’s license, passport, or military photo ID are required at checkout. Our laptop lending page has more information, including complete policies.

This project is funded (in part) with a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the Library of Michigan.
