Chris Shelton from the All About Animals Rescue Michigan organization will speak on what the average resident can do to help stray cats in their area, including The ABC’s of Community Cat Care and Trap/Neuter/Return. This program is family friendly and groups are welcome. Registration is required and begins on October 7.

Through custom-trained assistance dogs, Paws With a Cause enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities. Join us as they describe how their program works, how they got started, and the many types of people they help. We will also get to meet and greet some of the puppies as well as fully trained service dogs!

Physics professor and astronomer Jesse Mason returns with a presentation for the 50th anniversary of the first manned lunar landing, “a giant leap for mankind”.  On July 20, 1969, the lunar module of Apollo 11 landed safely on the moon.  Join us to learn about the historic event.  All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
