Do you need hours for NHS, Confirmation, or something else? Come to the library to make cards for local seniors and earn 1.5 service hours! Make sure to bring any paperwork that needs to be signed to earn hours. Teens will need to stay for the entire program to earn a full 1.5 hours. Those who do not need hours are welcome to join.

The entire family is invited to join us at the Busch or Burnette library for stories, songs, rhymes, and more.  While children of all ages are welcome, stories are chosen for ages 4 to 8.  Registration is required.  Please register each child separately.  Priority will be given to Warren residents.

Top That! is a new series of programs at the Burnette Library where teens will add toppings to different foods and hang out with other tweens & teens. In this month’s program, we’ll top cookies with frosting and candy. Masks will be required when not eating due to current city protocols. Those eating will be spaced apart – teens may also choose to take their cookies home to eat. Please note any food allergies or dietary restrictions when registering.

Chef Francine Pamela Salvatore will present a cooking demonstration of dishes for the spring season. Samples and recipes will be provided.

This program will take place in the Burnette Library’s community room and is open to adults ages 17+. Priority will be given to Warren residents. Masks will be required based on current city protocols.

Is one of your New Year’s Resolutions to get better sleep? Join the Burnette Branch Library for a virtual program with Michigan State University Extension for a presentation on SLEEP (Sleep Education for Everyone Program). This evidence-based program will discuss health considerations of sleep quantity and quality, sleep hygiene, and strategies to improve sleep.

This program will be on Zoom. A link will be sent to you via email prior to the program. Please register with your email address to receive Zoom link. This presentation is available to both residents & non-residents ages 17+.
