Join us after-hours for a ‘Beach Bash’ @ the Burnette Library! We’ll have a beach themed craft, beachy music, water blasters, and a sprinkler to run through. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet and bring a towel.
Teens should bring a towel and wear clothes they don’t mind getting wet.

Tuesday, June 14, 2022 6:00 P.M., Burnette Branch Library
Use 5 wooden 12″ rulers, foam adhesive strips, and twine to create a star you can hang on your house, wall, or even fence for summer.
This in-person craft program will take place in the Burnette Library’s community room and is open to adults ages 17+. Priority will be given to Warren residents.

Stop by the library to make your own artwork using sunlight! Use leaves, flowers, feathers, and cut out pieces of paper to create an image, then we’ll put it in the sun for a few minutes, rinse the paper, and watch our images appear. Weather Permitting We will also have games available for those who wish to stay for the entire time.

April 1-30, All Branches
April is National Poetry Month. To celebrate, tweens and teens are invited to submit their own original poetry to any Warren library branch by the end of the month for a chance to win a prize. All types of poetry will be accepted but it must be one page long or less. To enter, print off this form and attach it to your poem or pick up a pre-printed form from the library.
Ages 10-17. Winners will be announced in May. For more poetry fun, stop by any branch during the month of April to pick up an old book page to try your hand out at black-out poetry.
