Make art in your house without ever needing to leave. This Spectacular CD Weaving Project can be done simply, but the result is anything but. Make a few woven CDs, and you’ll begin to see the magic happen. The options are endless with this awesome craft.

Are you a middle or high school student that enjoys things like comics, anime, video games, Kpop, or D&D? Whatever you stan, Geek Club is the place for you! Join us in May for our inaugural meeting. We will have trivia, video games, and a Super Smash Brothers tournament.

April is National Poetry Month. To celebrate, tweens and teens are invited to submit their own original poetry to any Warren library branch by the end of the month for a chance to win a prize. All types of poetry will be accepted but it must be one page long or less. To enter, print off this form and attach it to your poem or pick up a pre-printed form from the library.

Ages 10-17. Winners will be announced in May. For more poetry fun, stop by any branch during the month of April to pick up an old book page to try your hand out at black-out poetry.

Wednesday, April 20, 3:00-4:30 PM, Maybelle Burnette Library

Do you need hours for NHS, Confirmation, or something else? Come to the library to make cards for local seniors and earn 1.5 service hours! Make sure to bring any paperwork that needs to be signed to earn hours. Teens will need to stay for the entire program to earn a full 1.5 hours. Those who do not need hours are welcome to join.

Ages 10-17. This is an in-person, parent-free program and will take place in the library’s community room. Registration is required. To register or for more information, please call 586.353.0579 or sign up online.

Are you interested in volunteering to improve your community? Do you need service hours for NHS, Confirmation, or another activity? Teens can sign up for a service project at the library! You can get up to two hours of service, and learn about other upcoming service opportunities.

Registration is requested, but not required. Call the library at 586-751-0770 or register online. This program will be held in the Civic Center conference room.
