D-DayIf you are interested in history, consider coming to the Arthur Miller Branch Library on Thursday, June 6, at 10:00 am, as we remember D-Day.

On June 6, 1944 the Allies launched Operation Overlord, a massive invasion of occupied France with one goal: rid Europe of tyranny and oppression. Representatives from the Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society will bring this pivotal moment in history to life at the Arthur Miller Branch Library with authentic uniforms and equipment. Get an up close look at the life of an American soldier and what he carried with him on the “Great Crusade”.

Registration is required and begins May 6. Call 586.751.5377 to register.
