On June 6, 1944 the Allies launched Operation Overlord, a massive invasion of occupied France with one goal: rid Europe of tyranny and oppression. Representatives from the Michigan Military Technical & Historical Society will bring this pivotal moment in history to life at the Arthur Miller Branch Library with authentic uniforms and equipment. Get an up close look at the life of an American soldier and what he carried with him on the “Great Crusade”.

ConsumerReports.org is the companion website to Consumer Reports magazine. Through our subscription, you have access to all subscriber-level content, including product overviews, ratings, videos, and more. Additionally, you can browse electronic editions of the print Consumer Reports magazine from 2009 – present.

To access ConsumerReports.org, you will need a Warren Library Card. Move your mouse over Research, then Databases.  From the database list, select ConsumerReports.org. At the ConsumerReports.org website, you will need to enter your library card number to gain access.

Like the name says, Gaming 2nd Saturdays happens the 2nd Saturday of each month. The library will have its game systems available, but feel free to bring your own! Bring your laptop and compete online using our Wi-Fi. When you’re bored of playing, peruse graphic novels and watch anime DVDs. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
