Exercise your mindOur Summer Reading program this year reminds us it’s important to exercise our mind as well as our body, so join us for this no-pressure book club!

If you are looking to get yourself out of a reading rut or to challenge your brain, stop by to meet some cool people and get a list of staff-picked books. Read one or two of the books (or the entire list!) and return on August 2 for a mind tingling book discussion.

If you are unable make the first meeting, drop by the Miller Branch to pick up the book list and join us in August.

Please click here or call 586.751.5377 to register. This program will meet on Conference Room B on the 2nd floor of the Warren Community Center.

Madcap.PuppetsOn your mark, get set….it’s time Summer Reading Club! To help start Summer Reading at 2 pm in the Warren City Hall Atrium we will be having a performance by Madcap Puppets! Additionally, there will be crafts and Summer Reading sign-up all day long in the library. You can also stop by any branch to get registered for Summer Reading Club!

Like last year, the  Summer Reading Club for kids, teens, and adults will be online. You will get points for tracking your reading, attending programs, playing games, and more! The more points you get, the more entries you earn for our prize drawings. You can register at our Summer Reading website beginning May 21. Don’t have a computer? No worries – library staff at any Warren Library branch will be happy to get you registered and log your reading.

We look forward to a great summer of fun, games, programs, and, most important – reading!
