Saturday, August 13, 6-10 pm, Arthur Miller Library

Teclimbersens from all Warren branches are invited to attend our Summer Reading Finale held at the Miller Library!

Teens who have completed 100 points in the Summer Reading Club are welcome to test their survival skills with an evening’s lessons in archery, fire-starting, identifying wild edibles and animal tracks. Come learn what it takes to survive in the wild!

Open to teens entering 7th through 12th grades. This is a parent free event. Please enter though the Arden Ave entrance.

Storyteller Genot Picor will be visiting the Maybelle Burnette Branch with an energetic show of interactive stories, songs, folk dances, and creative movement. Come join us for a fun evening of stories and songs!

SRC shoesCome meet up with like-minded people who want to get moving! We’ll organize into walking groups and pick a walking challenge; those who complete the challenge will be entered in a prize drawing. Then to kick things off we’ll go for a mile-long loop around the Community Center’s walking path.

First meeting will take place in Conference Room B, on 2nd floor of the Warren Community Center. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Teens, we hope to see you on Friday, June 17 at the Civic Center Library  from 6pm – 9pm for our Teen Summer Reading Kickoff.

We’ll have an inflatable obstacle course and jousting arena putt-putt golf,  games, pizza, music, crafts, and more! Teens from all branches are welcome and encouraged to attend. We hope this event will be even bigger than last year!

You do not need to register for this drop-in program. You must arrive by 7:00 p.m. Open to those entering grades 7 through 12 with school I.D., Michigan state I.D., or driver’s license only. This is a parent-free event.
